Matteo Guendouzi will not want to watch this moment again.

Details: A shocking individual error produced Slavia Prague's first goal in their Champions League clash away to Fenerbahce. In the 15th minute, Matteo Guendouzi inexplicably played the ball straight to Lukas Provod, leaving the Czech side's captain with a clear path towards goal. Provod suddenly found himself one-on-one with Ederson and calmly took advantage of the gift, scoring to make it 2-1.

The mistake was particularly painful for Fenerbahce because the Turkish side had made a flying start in Istanbul. Oguz Aydin opened the scoring as early as the fourth minute before Mason Greenwood doubled the hosts' advantage in the 11th.

Just four minutes later, however, Guendouzi handed Slavia a lifeline almost out of nowhere. Instead of forcing their way through the Fenerbahce defence, the visitors were presented with possession in a perfect position, and Provod made no mistake with the finish.

It is worth noting that Provod started the match as Slavia Prague's captain. The 15th-minute strike was the third goal of a frantic opening quarter of an hour, following Aydin's effort in the fourth minute and Greenwood's goal seven minutes later.
