Horoya AC secured the title for the 2025–2026 season with one match day remaining in the Guinean league. Their victory was confirmed following a 2–1 win against Wakriya AC on Friday 17 April, during matchday 25 of the Guinean Ligue 1. The club were crowned champions with a five-point lead over their nearest rivals, Hafia FC.
Horoya AC’s 2025–2026 season has been remarkable. They have accumulated 56 points from 25 Ligue 1 matches. This is the 22nd time in their history that the club have been crowned Guinean champions.
