Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet attends NBA game and receives signed jersey from his idol
Dune star Timothée Chalamet was a special guest at the NBA matchup between the New York Knicks and the Memphis Grizzlies at Madison Square Garden, reports TMZ. The popular actor was overjoyed to receive a signed jersey from one of the Knicks players, a team he has supported since childhood.
After the game, which saw the Knicks claim victory, center Karl-Anthony Towns approached the stands where Chalamet was seated in the front row. The basketball star greeted the actor before removing his jersey, signing it, and handing it over as a gift. The two then smiled for the cameras, capturing the moment.
Chalamet is no stranger to attending sporting events. He was recently spotted in Rome at a Serie A match, watching local side Roma in action. After the game, he posed for a photo with Roma forward Paulo Dybala.
The actor is a passionate football fan and has supported French club Saint-Étienne since childhood. As evident from his frequent appearances at games, he is also a lifelong follower of the New York Knicks.
In last night’s NBA clash, the Knicks secured a dominant 143-106 victory over the Grizzlies.
