Details: A spectacular AI-generated video titled The Ballon d'Or Heist has gone viral on social media. Published on October 12 by the X account The Blue Horizon, the two-minute film imagines a daring robbery during football's most prestigious individual awards ceremony. As Didier Drogba prepares to announce the winner, the lights suddenly go out and the golden trophy disappears.
What follows is a spectacular chase featuring some of football's biggest superstars. Kylian Mbappé finds himself at the centre of the action, while Lionel Messi appears as a bus driver, Jack Grealish turns up in a pub, and Vinícius Júnior also features in the unusual storyline.
