Højlund outshines Haaland. Denmark defeats Norway ahead of the European Championship

In Copenhagen, at the Brøndby Stadium, the Danish national team hosted Norway in a friendly match.

In the first half, the home side scored twice, heading into the break with a comfortable lead. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Jannik Vestergaard found the net for Denmark.

In the second half, Norway increased the pressure on the hosts. In the 65th minute, Erling Haaland scored, but his goal was disallowed after a VAR review. A few minutes later, the Manchester City forward scored a legitimate goal, finishing a pass from Martin Ødegaard.

However, the final word was with the hosts. Yussuf Poulsen sealed the match in the 90th minute.

This was Denmark's last friendly before the start of Euro 2024. On June 16, Denmark will face Slovenia in the European Championship.
