"His impact on the game is far more than just numbers" - Carrick hails African talent's performance
Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick has publicly thrown his support behind Amad Diallo, emphasizing that his influence on the pitch goes far beyond the dry statistics of goals and assists.
Details: During the pre-match press conference ahead of the clash with Liverpool, Carrick highlighted that Amad Diallo makes a colossal contribution to the team's success, showcasing not only exceptional talent and technical ability, but also a fantastic work ethic.
Carrick noted that it is precisely players like Diallo who lay the foundation for a winning team, carrying out a huge amount of invisible but critically important work.
The manager also clarified the situation regarding the recent substitution of the Ivorian in the match against Brentford, calling him "unlucky" that evening. Carrick stressed that the decision to take him off was based solely on tactical changes, not on the quality of his performance.
The coach expressed full confidence in the player, who throughout the season has successfully handled various roles on the pitch, adapting to the team’s needs.
It’s worth noting that this season the Ivorian midfielder has featured in 29 matches for the Manchester club, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.
Reminder: Inter Miami is considering the acquisition of Manchester United midfielder Casemiro.
