"His contribution to boxing will never be forgotten." Mike Tyson reacts to Foreman's death


On the night of March 21 to 22 in Houston, American boxer George Foreman passed away. His heart stopped beating at the age of 77.
Legendary former world champion Mike Tyson reacted to the death of the two-time heavyweight champion.
Quote. “Condolences to the family of George Foreman. His contribution to boxing and beyond will never be forgotten,” Tyson wrote on his page on X.
Reminder. Foreman's death was reported by his family on their Instagram account, without stating the cause, but it was clarified that he passed away surrounded by family.
Foreman was the 1968 Olympic heavyweight champion, as well as the world heavyweight champion under the WBC (1973—1974), WBA (1973—1974, 1994), and IBF (1994—1995) titles.
The last title allowed him to secure the title of the oldest champion. He relinquished the IBF title on June 29, 1995, when he was 46 years and 170 days old.
