Hinting at a potential collaboration? Guardiola confessed his admiration for a top EPL club

Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, has admitted his admiration for one of his main competitors in the title race - Liverpool.

"I admire Liverpool. Whatever happens this season, I admire Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool have always been like that, a team that challenges us, a true rival that has been competing with us for six to seven years," quotes Guardiola Fabrizio Romano.

Manchester City is currently leading the Premier League standings after playing 32 matches. Guardiola's team is two points ahead of both Liverpool and Arsenal with six rounds remaining in the championship.

Earlier reports in the media suggested that the Catalan coach might leave Manchester City when his contract expires in 2025.

Today, at 18:15 Central European Time, Manchester City will face Chelsea in the semifinals of the FA Cup with hopes of reaching the final.
