High-profile transfer move: Atlético target Juventus forward
Atlético Madrid is aiming to secure a marquee addition to their attacking line before the transfer window closes.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the Madrid club is actively searching for a new center forward and has reached out to Juventus management regarding a potential transfer of Canadian striker Jonathan David. At this stage, there has been no official offer or full-scale negotiations between the clubs, but the Spanish side has made a direct call to thoroughly inquire about the terms of a possible deal.
The 26-year-old Canadian forward himself is open to a new challenge and is ready to leave the Turin club if he receives a lucrative personal contract offer. His current deal with Juventus runs until June 30, 2030.
It’s worth noting that in the 2025/26 season, Jonathan David played 35 Serie A matches for Juventus, scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists. The reputable portal Transfermarkt values the striker at 30 million euros.
