Today, the legendary former right-back Dani Alves was released from incarceration. The footballer posted bail in the amount of 1 million euros and departed from prison.
A video has already surfaced online, capturing the Brazilian's emergence from confinement after a 14-month stay.
Alves will remain free pending the appeal process. His passport has been confiscated, and he is required to appear in court weekly.
The duration of the appeal process remains uncertain at this time.
It is worth noting that Dani Alves was found guilty of assaulting a 23-year-old woman in the restroom of a prestigious nightclub in Barcelona, although the footballer claims the encounter was consensual. The woman alleges that Alves attacked her and subsequently struck her.
Throughout his career, Alves has also played for Juventus, PSG, Sao Paulo, Sevilla, and the Mexican club Pumas.
