"He's not always in his best form." Carlo Ancelotti reproached Mbappe

Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti shared his opinion on the team's star forward, Kylian Mbappe.

According to the "Galacticos" coach, the French striker didn't perform to the best of his abilities in the recent derby against Atletico.

Quote. "Against Atletico, he didn't play at the level he did against Man City. Overall, he plays well, and we are pleased with him. But we must remember that he's not always in his best form.

The season is demanding, which is normal, especially for quality players; they have more ups and downs, it's something genetic. He plays very well. If we are in the Champions League Round of 16, it's a lot for him, he scored four goals in the match," Ancelotti said.

Reminder. After transferring from PSG this summer, Mbappe has scored 28 goals and provided 5 assists in 41 matches for Real.

Earlier, we reported that Ancelotti wants to stay at Real amid interest from other clubs.
