“He’s got a very high ceiling”: Keith Andrews impressed by Senegalese left-back Malick Diouf
Having joined from West Ham during the last summer transfer window, Malick Diouf is held in high regard by his manager, Keith Andrews, who makes no secret of his expectations of him.
The 21-year-old Senegalese defender has plenty of room for improvement, according to the Brentford manager. Impressed by his potential and his attitude, Keith Andrews believes his new signing has all the qualities needed to take his game to the next level under his guidance.
“He’s 21 years old. He’s got a very high ceiling. We knew that Malick had a very open mind towards developing his game and improving his individual way of playing. He will only get better for us and he will prove to be a brilliant signing”, said Keith Andrews.
At Brentford, expectations are therefore high for the young defender, whom Keith Andrews regards as a promising investment for the club’s future. The Senegalese player has made five Premier League appearances since his arrival.
Whilst at West Ham last season, Malick Diouf made a name for himself with five assists.
