A new chapter is about to begin in the career of Real Madrid legend Lucas Vázquez.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the club has made a final decision regarding Vázquez’s future.
The 33-year-old right-back will take part in the upcoming 2025 Club World Cup, after which he will leave the club as a free agent. The club informed Vázquez of this decision immediately after securing the transfer agreement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Lucas Vázquez has been part of the Real Madrid system since 2007, with the exception of the 2014/15 season, when he played for Espanyol on loan.
This season, Vázquez has tallied 2 goals and 7 assists in 48 matches.
