Last year, on October 18, Neymar suffered a severe knee ligament injury during a World Cup 2026 qualifying match against Uruguay. His return is now on the horizon.

Details: On his Instagram page, Neymar shared several photos from Al-Hilal's training sessions, captioning them: "Happy to be back with the group... it’s pure joy now."

It’s worth noting that on Tuesday, October 1, Al-Hilal will face Al-Shorta in an AFC Champions League match. In the Saudi Professional League, the team is currently in first place, having won all five of their matches.

Reminder: The head coach of the Saudi club, Jorge Jesus, mentioned that it might be too early to discuss Neymar's return, and they may have to wait until January for the star forward to rejoin the squad.

Neymar joined Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023 from PSG for €90 million. He has only played five matches for his new team, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
