Marcus Rashford is determined to write a new chapter at his boyhood club.

Details: According to Daily Mail journalist Mike Keegan, the 28-year-old forward has left Manchester United officials seriously impressed following his return to the club. Insiders at the training ground say Rashford has been working relentlessly in training sessions, while also taking a keen interest in helping United's younger players — particularly 15-year-old talent JJ Gabriel. The England international has also spent time with Shea Lacey and was quick to reconnect with Kobbie Mainoo.

The forward returned to Carrington this summer after a season-long loan at Barcelona, where he scored 14 goals in 49 appearances and won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup. The Catalans, however, chose not to activate his €30 million buyout clause, so Rashford came back to Manchester — a club where he had not played a competitive match since December 2024, when he was frozen out by Ruben Amorim.

Now, under Michael Carrick, the academy graduate has a real chance at a second life at Old Trafford — even though his iconic number 10 shirt has already been handed to Matheus Cunha. United's players are reportedly urging the club to keep Rashford, and his mentoring of the academy starlets only strengthens his case. The Red Devils open their Premier League campaign on August 22 away at Hull City.

It's worth noting that Rashford is Manchester United's homegrown star with 426 appearances and 138 goals for the club, and he featured for England at the 2026 World Cup this summer.

Reminder: Generous €50 million offer! Turkish giants attempt to lure Manchester United's leader.
