Chelsea hosted Brighton at Stamford Bridge in the 6th round of the Premier League, securing a 4-2 victory thanks to four first-half goals by Cole Palmer.

According to Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca, the midfielder could have scored even more if he had wanted to.

Quote: "Cole scored four, but he could’ve easily scored two or three more. It’s great that he remains hungry and ambitious.

I’ve known Cole for many years. He spent a full season with me in City’s U23s and then with the first team. The best thing about him is his skill set. All those goals, assists—he’s the best player in the Premier League.

But it doesn’t change who he is. He’s a simple, humble guy, and that’s the most important thing for me. He’s a top player, and what’s most important in today’s football is that young players often change very quickly."

Reminder: Palmer became the first player in Premier League history to score a "poker" (four goals) in one half before the break.
