"He's a good player". Ten Hag commented on Sancho's return
Former Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho appears set to receive a second chance to establish himself at Manchester United.
In the first half of the past season, Sancho was sidelined due to a conflict with head coach Erik ten Hag, and he spent the second half of the season on loan at Dortmund. However, after returning from vacation, Sancho reconciled with ten Hag and resumed training with the main squad of Manchester United.
Today, ten Hag essentially confirmed that Sancho would once again play for the "Red Devils."
“We’ve drawn the line, we move on”. “Manchester United need good players and Jadon is a good player”, ten Hag told Manchester Evening News.
In the summer of 2021, Manchester United paid Borussia Dortmund €85 million for Sancho. Since then, Sancho has played only 82 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists.
In the second half of the past season, Sancho registered 3 goals and 3 assists in 21 matches for the Yellow-Blacks, who reached the UEFA Champions League final.
