The court has delivered its verdict on the incident involving former Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales, but Jennifer Hermoso is dissatisfied with the decision.

Details: According to BBC, the Spanish footballer has consulted with her lawyers and intends to appeal the court’s ruling. Rubiales has been ordered to pay €20 per day for 18 months and is prohibited from coming within 200 meters of Hermoso.

Initially, prosecutors had sought a two-year prison sentence for the former federation chief, but the court ruled against it.

Meanwhile, Rubiales’ own appeal was rejected by the judges, who stated that FIFA’s sanctions were justified and proportionate. No further explanations were provided.

Reminder: During the awards ceremony following Spain’s Women's World Cup victory over England, Rubiales kissed Hermoso on the lips without her consent while handing her the medal.
