Tottenham is shaking up the Premier League transfer market.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the London club has reached a full verbal agreement to sign Liverpool and Scotland's star left-back Andy Robertson.
All verbal agreements are expected to be honored, with the official contract set to be signed imminently. Spurs' management moved swiftly to finalize the deal, overcoming a last-ditch effort from Juventus to hijack the transfer. The Italian giants made an official offer, but Robertson opted for London.
The Scotland captain has been Tottenham's primary transfer target since last January. Now, with Roberto De Zerbi taking charge, the club's interest has reignited—De Zerbi personally insisted on bringing in the experienced defender, who perfectly fits his tactical vision.
Notably, the Scottish full-back played 36 matches across all competitions this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. Transfermarkt values the player at €10 million.
Reminder: Liverpool has offered a new contract to Alisson.
