Here we go! Raffaele Palladino set to be appointed new Atalanta head coach
Atalanta didn't stay without a head coach for long.
Details: According to renowned and respected insider Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta has reached an agreement with 41-year-old Italian tactician Raffaele Palladino to appoint him as the new head coach of the team.
Romano reports that the contract will run until June 2027 with an option to extend, and the official announcement is expected within the next 24 hours.

Earlier in his career, the young coach managed teams like Monza and Fiorentina. This May, Palladino became a free agent after leaving the “Viola.”
Atalanta is turning to Palladino after parting ways with their former head coach Ivan Juric, who was dismissed following a poor start to the season—a key factor in the club's decision to terminate his contract.
In 11 Serie A matches, Atalanta managed just 2 wins, drew 7 times and lost twice. The team currently sits 13th in the league table with 13 points—a disappointing return for a club that aims to challenge for medals every season.
Reminder: It didn't work out! Official: Ivan Juric steps down as Atalanta head coach
