Here we go! PSG beats Juventus to complete high-profile goalkeeper transfer

PSG is about to make an unconventional move in the transfer market to bolster its goalkeeping lineup.

Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Parisian club has reached a verbal agreement with Parma to sign 23-year-old Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. The total deal, including bonuses, will amount to €35 million.

PSG views the acquisition of the Japanese keeper as a long-term investment. Due to intense competition for the starting spot, the club plans to immediately send Suzuki out on loan so he can get regular playing time. Juventus is among the leading contenders to secure the goalkeeper on a direct loan right after his transfer to the French side, with the Turin club expected to make a final decision soon.

It’s worth noting that since joining Parma in 2024, Zion Suzuki has made 59 appearances, conceding 83 goals and registering 14 assists. According to Transfermarkt, the 23-year-old Japan international is currently valued at €30 million.
