One of the top strikers of the 2024 European Championship, Georgian national team player Georges Mikautadze, is transferring to Monaco.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an oral agreement has already been reached between the parties. The trip to Monaco is scheduled for Saturday, during which the contracts will be signed. The deal is valued at 20 million euros and will be a long-term agreement.

Mikautadze shone at Euro 2024, scoring three goals and providing one assist in four matches. His impressive performances have unsurprisingly attracted interest from top leagues.

In addition to Monaco, West Ham, Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, and two other French clubs, Marseille and Lyon, have been monitoring Mikautadze. Metz is reportedly asking around €25 million for the forward.
