Manchester United's primary striker, Rasmus Højlund, is about to face a formidable competitor for a place in the starting lineup.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the "Red Devils" have finalized the transfer of Bologna's top scorer, Joshua Zirkzee. The insider added his famous "Here we go!"
The transfer of Zirkzee will not cost the club the 40 million euros stipulated in his contract as a clause. However, over three years, with bonuses, this amount could exceed 40 million.
Manchester United has agreed with Zirkzee on a contract until the summer of 2029.
The club won the battle for the Dutch forward over AC Milan, who saw him as the ideal replacement for Olivier Giroud.
In 34 Serie A matches last season, Zirkzee scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists, while Bologna sensationally qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
