Here we go! Netherlands defender Rensch joins Roma

Roma has faced significant defensive struggles this season, and the club has secured its first winter signing to help improve results.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the Roman club has finalized the transfer of Ajax right-back Devyne Rensch.

The transfer fee is €6 million plus bonuses, a low price due to Rensch having just six months remaining on his Ajax contract.

After completing his medical, the 22-year-old Dutchman will sign a five-year contract with Roma.

Rensch has been part of Ajax's first team since he was 17 years old, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists in 155 appearances for his boyhood club.

Reminder: It was recently announced that this season will be the last in the managerial career of Roma head coach Claudio Ranieri.
