Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media page X, 29-year-old French forward from Marseille is soon to join Spanish side Sevilla.
It is reported that Sevilla will initially sign Maupay on loan until the end of the current season, with an option to buy for €6 million, which is not mandatory.

Maupay joined Marseille in July 2025 from Everton for €4 million. Since then, he has played 27 matches for the French club, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists. This season, things have not gone so well for Maupay, as he has featured in only 4 matches for Marseille, scoring 2 goals.
Maupay's current contract with Marseille runs until 2028, with a market value of €4 million according to Transfermarkt.
