There is a possibility that AC Milan will announce the name of their new head coach as early as today.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri have fully agreed on a contract with former Lille, Roma, Shakhtar, and Porto coach Paulo Fonseca. The club only needs to finalize the contracts with Fonseca's coaching staff for the official announcement.

Milan's contract with Fonseca will run until the summer of 2026, with an option for automatic extension for an additional season. At Milan, Fonseca will earn 2.5 million euros per year.

Fonseca will replace Stefano Pioli as the head coach of Milan.

Last season, Milan finished in second place in Serie A.
