The Red Devils are strengthening their midfield by bringing in an experienced player.
Details: Youri Tielemans is on the verge of joining Manchester United. According to Fabrizio Romano, the English club has already triggered the buyout clause in the Belgian midfielder’s contract with Aston Villa.
The deal is reported to be worth €41 million. In addition, United have already agreed on the main personal terms with the player, so the transfer is now in its final stages.
After successfully completing the transfer of Andrey Santos, the United board turned their focus to signing Tielemans. This move became a top priority after the deal for midfielder Éderson collapsed, with negotiations ending on Friday.
The official confirmation of the transfer is expected once all formalities are completed and the signed documents are exchanged between the clubs.
Youri Tielemans’ market value is estimated at €30 million by Transfermarkt.
