The transfer saga of Davide Frattesi has finally reached its climax.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Lazio have struck a deal with Inter for the 26-year-old Italian midfielder — here we go! The Rome-based club will pay €1 million for the loan, with an option to buy for €14 million.

Under certain conditions, this option will automatically become a mandatory purchase. The triggers depend on Frattesi's number of appearances and Lazio's final position in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Inter has secured its future: the Milan giants will retain 50% of the proceeds from any future sale of the midfielder.

For Frattesi himself, this move could be a golden opportunity to secure significantly more playing time and reestablish himself as a key figure in midfield. At Lazio, the Italian is expected to play a much more prominent role than he did with Inter.

It's worth noting that in the 2025/26 season, Frattesi made 33 appearances across all competitions for Inter and provided three assists. Transfermarkt currently values the Italian at €22 million.

Reminder: Inter ready to make a blockbuster €35 million bid for Liverpool transfer target.
