Here we go! Lazio find new striker in Serie A
Gennaro Gattuso has finally secured the much-anticipated reinforcement for his attacking line.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Lazio have finalized a deal to sign 27-year-old Italian striker Andrea Pinamonti from Sassuolo. The Biancocelesti have taken the player on loan for €3 million, with an option to buy for €11 million. The buy option is expected to be fully activated in the summer of 2027.
All the terms of the agreement have been settled, and the player himself has agreed to a long-term contract. Lazio's management made Pinamonti their top transfer target after their move for Senegalese striker Bamba Dieng fell through.
It’s worth noting that Sassuolo have owned the rights to the player since 2023, but he spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Genoa before returning to the Neroverdi squad. In the 2025/26 campaign, the Italian netted 9 goals for Sassuolo. The reputable portal Transfermarkt values the striker at €15 million.
