Details: According to renowned journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media page X, 34-year-old Colombian attacking midfielder James Rodríguez has reached an agreement with MLS club Minnesota United and will soon join his new team on a permanent deal.

Reports indicate that James will join Minnesota as a free agent and is set to sign a short-term contract with an option to extend. Negotiations over a few contract details are still ongoing, but an official announcement of the transfer is expected in the coming days.
James's last club was Mexican side León, which he left in January this year upon the expiration of his contract.
Previously, James stated that he dreams of making the 2026 World Cup squad with Colombia, as it’s likely this tournament will be his last in the national team jersey.
