Here we go! Ivorian International Franck Kessié Return to Atalanta After Snubbing Juventus and Roma

Franck Kessié has completed a surprise return to Atalanta after leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli, turning down the chance to join Serie A rivals Juventus and Roma.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Kessié has signed with Atalanta after talks with Juventus broke down on the same day.

The transfer has now been completed, with the 29-year-old midfielder returning to the club where he first made a name for himself in Italian football.

Kessié had previously prioritised a move to Juventus, but reports claimed he later informed the club that the proposed conditions were not right for him to complete the transfer.

The Ivorian midfielder instead opted for a return to Atalanta, where he enjoyed a breakthrough 2016/17 season. He made 30 Serie A appearances that campaign, scoring six goals and providing four assists.
