Here we go! Greenwood leaves Manchester United for a big fee

Controversial forward Mason Greenwood will officially leave Manchester United in the coming days.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the English striker has fully agreed to a transfer to Marseille. The French club has already booked a charter flight for Greenwood, who will arrive for a medical examination and to sign a contract until the summer of 2029.
Marseille will pay €30 million for Greenwood's transfer. Additionally, Manchester United will receive 50% of Greenwood's next transfer fee.
Last season, Greenwood played on loan at Getafe. In 33 La Liga matches, he scored 8 goals and provided 6 assists.
Marseille finished eighth in the 2023/24 Ligue 1 season and will not participate in European competitions. Roberto De Zerbi has been appointed as the new head coach of the team.
