Paris Saint-Germain is set to acquire 18-year-old prodigy Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians in the coming days, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

The French champions will pay €20 million for the central midfielder, with an additional €2 million possible for Corinthians in bonuses. Moscardo is scheduled to undergo a medical examination shortly and sign a five-year contract.

Moscardo will be PSG's second winter signing from the Brazilian league. The club has also reached an agreement with Sao Paulo for the transfer of central defender Lucas Beraldo.

PSG has successfully outbid Barcelona and Chelsea, who had been trying to negotiate Moscardo's transfer since the summer.

This move will make Moscardo the most expensive sale in Corinthians' history. Currently, the record belongs to former Barcelona midfielder Paulinho, whom Corinthians sold to Tottenham for €19.75 million in the summer of 2013.

The young Brazilian has earned a place in the Corinthians' first team during the season, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist in 25 matches.
