Here we go! Chelsea sign 18-year-old talent from Aston Villa

Yesterday, we reported that Chelsea signed 17-year-old Brazilian wunderkind Willian Estevao from Palmeiras. Since the winger will only be able to move to London next year, the Blues did not stop there and managed to agree on the transfer of another young talent.

This time, it's 18-year-old Aston Villa forward Omari Kellyman. According to Fabrizio Romano, the clubs have already reached an agreement, setting the transfer fee at £19 million. Notably, according to the statistical portal Transfermarkt, the player's contract value is only £1 million.

Kellyman's contract runs until 2030, with an option for a one-year extension. He is scheduled to undergo a medical examination at the London club tomorrow, June 24.

Omari Kellyman is a product of Derby County's academy but joined Aston Villa in 2022. The forward has made six appearances for the Lions' first team, including three in the UEFA Europa Conference League, where he provided one assist. This remains his only goal contribution for the first team.
