Here we go! Borussia Dortmund signs Brazilian wonderkid Kaua Prates from Cruzeiro

The player is set to undergo his medical today, but will only join Borussia in the summer.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with Cruzeiro's 17-year-old defender Kaua Prates.

Reports indicate that the "Black and Yellows" will pay Cruzeiro €7 million, with an additional €5 million to be paid in bonuses.

Prates is scheduled for his medical and will sign his contract today, but he’ll remain with Cruzeiro for the rest of the season before linking up with Dortmund this summer.

Kaua Prates is a Cruzeiro academy product, and this move marks the first major transfer of his career. At just 17, he has already made 17 senior appearances for Cruzeiro and even scored a goal.

Transfermarkt values Kaua Prates at €6 million.
