Bayern Munich has sealed the deal for one of Germany’s most sought-after young defenders. Left-back Nathaniel Brown of Eintracht Frankfurt is set to continue his career in Munich.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, a full agreement has been reached between the clubs—the famous “Here we go!” has been declared.
The outcome of these negotiations was never in doubt: the 23-year-old player had agreed personal terms weeks ago and made it clear to Frankfurt’s management that he was only considering a move to the Allianz Arena.
Bayern’s management has fully agreed on the transfer fee with Eintracht’s sporting director Markus Krösche—the Munich side will pay an impressive €55 million for the talented full-back. Brown already has a long-term contract waiting for him in Munich, set for five years.
It’s worth noting that last season the German made 42 appearances for Eintracht across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists. Transfermarkt values the player at €40 million.
Reminder: Bayern is set to sell Michael Olise for a massive fee.
