Here we go! Barcelona legend moves to Fabregas' team
Former Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto didn't remain a free agent for long.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the La Masia graduate has finalized his move to Serie A newcomers Como. He will sign a two-year contract with an option for an additional season.
The key factor in the negotiations was the involvement of Como's head coach, Cesc Fàbregas, who previously played for Barcelona and maintains a good relationship with Sergi Roberto.
This summer, Como has already secured signings of legendary players like Raphaël Varane and Pepe Reina.
It's also worth noting that Como has already agreed on the transfers of Real Madrid’s central midfielder Nico Paz and Maximo Perrone from Manchester City.
The 32-year-old Sergi Roberto spent his entire career at Barcelona, amassing 373 appearances, 19 goals, and 43 assists for his boyhood club.
