Here we go! Arsenal legend moves to Crystal Palace!
England opens its doors once again for the Japanese star.
Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Takehiro Tomiyasu is set to become a Crystal Palace player. The Japanese defender has already successfully completed his medical examination in London, and the contract signing is expected within the next 48 hours.
Tomiyasu will join the Eagles as a free agent following his departure from Ajax this summer. Before reaching a final agreement, the player trained with Crystal Palace and was assessed during the team’s preseason preparations.
All that remains is for both sides to finalize the paperwork and officially announce the transfer. No financial compensation will be required for the defender, as his short-term contract with the Amsterdam club has already expired.
It’s worth noting that during his time at Ajax, Tomiyasu played nine matches, clocking a total of 236 minutes on the pitch.
Reminder: Replacement found for the buyer! Palace targets Disasi after selling Lacroix.
