French forward Antoine Griezmann has delivered many outstanding seasons with Atlético Madrid and in Spain, but his time at the club is drawing to a close.
Details: Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has delivered his trademark “here we go” on Griezmann’s move from Atlético Madrid to Orlando City.
The transfer is set to take place in the summer of 2026, following the expiration of the Frenchman’s contract with Los Colchoneros.
In addition, as reported by Marca, Griezmann will travel to the United States during the international break.
Griezmann signed a six-year contract with Atlético Madrid on July 29, 2014. He immediately became the focal point of the team’s attack. In June 2019, he officially joined Barcelona, but returned to Madrid two years later.
Reminder: In the second leg of the UEFA Champions League tie between Tottenham and Atlético, the Spanish side matched an unwanted club record.
