The future of the star Uruguayan striker has finally been decided.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal forward Darwin Núñez will continue his career at Al Diriyah. The two Saudi clubs have already reached a verbal agreement regarding the player's transfer.

The deal is structured as a loan lasting until June 2027. Al Diriyah will fully cover the player's wages, but the current agreement does not include a buy option clause.

The parties still need to sign the official paperwork, but the agreement is already sealed, and the Uruguayan is set to undergo his medical examination.

It's worth noting that in the 2025/26 season, the Uruguayan striker made 24 appearances for Al Hilal across all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists. According to Transfermarkt, the 27-year-old forward's market value is estimated at 20 million euros.
