Here are the opponents for the African nations in the round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup
Nine out of ten African teams have secured their places
Africa is well represented in the knockout stages of the current tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The group stage of the 2026 World Cup concluded on 28 June. Following this, several African nations have secured their places in the round of 16. Morocco, Ivory Coast, Egypt, DR Congo, Algeria, Ghana, Senegal, Cape Verde and South Africa have all qualified.
They will face opponents from other continents in the knockout stages.
