Henry says he’s "open to anything" as a coach but sets one condition
As a football legend, Thierry Henry has yet to replicate his success as a manager. The highlight of his coaching career remains a silver medal at the home Olympics with France's youth team, which he left in August. However, Henry is now ready for a new challenge.
Details: Henry is willing to return to coaching at the club level, but any offer must align with his personal and family needs.
Quote: "I have no problem testing myself at club level, but it has to be the right opportunity. I need to assess the situation—what it is, where it is, and how it fits. Pep [Guardiola] had a sabbatical—people don’t realize how hard it is for your family and kids.
Then, when you get sacked, you come back home, and no one cares about what happens to you or your family. Once you step into this game, you have to keep the engine running because you never know when you need to head to the airport! I’m open to anything, but it has to make sense for me and my family," Henry said on Monday Night Football.
Reminder: Earlier, Henry criticized Pep Guardiola for his decision to sell Cole Palmer to Chelsea.
