Mikel Arteta's arrival has turned Arsenal back into a force to be reckoned with in English football, but little more than that. The Gunners' fans still haven't seen any silverware, raising questions from club legend Thierry Henry.

Details: Henry acknowledged that Arteta needed time to build his squad, but emphasized that enough time has passed—enough for even Manchester United to reach finals on a regular basis.

Quote: “I’m not saying I’m disappointed with Arsenal, but it’s only natural that people are now raising questions about what the team is doing. I understand that at the very beginning, you come in and it’s not your team. You need at least three or four transfer windows to change everything you want.

That takes time, and you have to give the manager the time to implement what he wants to do. Over the past three years, Arsenal have been in a position where they should have at least brought home a trophy or (reached) a final.

In the last five years, Manchester United have played in five finals—United, the club everyone laughs at. Meanwhile, in three years of rebuilding, Arsenal have not reached a final. So I understand when people ask: ‘Of course you should be fighting for a trophy, shouldn’t you?’” Henry said in an interview on the Stick to Football podcast.
