The head of Matchroom's promotional company, Eddie Hearn, has revealed who he plans to organize the next fight for former two-division world champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs).

According to the promoter, he is aiming to set up a bout between Devin and IBF titleholder Liam Paro. The fight could take place on December 7 in Australia.

"This is a fight that Liam would also like to have. Devin has a good reputation in Australia after those two fights with Kambosos. So, this could be an option. I spoke with him [Thursday] evening, and he said that if the deal is right, I don’t think he would have any issues with traveling.

The plan for Liam Paro is a fight on December 7 in Australia. That’s the goal. We are negotiating with different state governments about holding Liam Paro's fight. Brisbane, Sydney, and Adelaide," Hearn told BoxingScene.

In April of this year, Haney lost to Ryan Garcia. The fight became controversial due to Ryan's positive doping test.

Garcia has been officially suspended for a year for using banned substances before the fight against Haney.

In August, the former world champion announced his imminent return to the ring.
