Promoter Eddie Hearn commented on the potential bout between his protege Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, as reported by Boxing News.

The British promoter stated that nothing has been signed yet, no contracts. Although a preliminary agreement for the fight has already been in place.

"Nothing is signed yet. By the way, we've had a previous deal for the Wilder fight with Joshua. Nothing is signed, and we're focused on the Wallin fight. Without a victory over him, the fight with Wilder can be forgotten," said Hearn.

The promoter added that if both boxers (Joshua and Wilder) secure victories next Saturday, fans will get that fight. However, nothing has been signed yet. It's worth noting that the bout between Anthony and Wallin is set to take place on December 23 in Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, another significant event in the world of boxing is expected to occur in early 2024. According to ESPN, a contract for a bout has been signed by former world champions in the heavyweight division Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KO) and Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KO).

As per the information from the channel, their fight is scheduled for March 9, 2024, and it will take place in Saudi Arabia. The source indicates that all financial matters have already been agreed upon. In case either boxer gets injured, the bout will be postponed to an indefinite date.
