Heading to Los Angeles? Vinicius Junior shares personal photo from the plane

Brazil national team star Vinicius Junior appears to be heading to Los Angeles after his side’s match against Paraguay in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The forward posted a snapshot from the plane to his Instagram stories.
Vinicius shared a photo of himself and Matheus Cunha seated in the cabin. He captioned it, “Thanks for the assist 😏 @cunha” and “Lets go to LA with @nikefootball.”

The Brazilian clearly thanked Cunha for the decisive pass that set up Vinicius’ match-winning and only goal against Paraguay. That victory secured Brazil’s place at the World Cup, as they now lead Venezuela, who sit in the playoff spot, by seven points with just two matches remaining.
As for the trip to Los Angeles, the reason isn’t entirely clear yet. However, given the tagged Nike account, it’s possible Junior is heading there for some promotional commitments.
It’s also worth noting that the FIFA Club World Cup is about to kick off in the United States. Real Madrid will play their opening match on June 18 in Miami against Saudi side Al Hilal.
