"Heading for victory." Erling Haaland shares a snap from the plane to Tallinn

Norwegian national team star Erling Haaland revealed how the squad set off for their next 2026 World Cup qualifying match in Estonia. The striker posted an Instagram Story featuring a photo with his national teammates from aboard the plane.
Later, Haaland also shared a post with a photo from Norway’s training session, captioned simply: “Tallinn 📌.” It’s in Tallinn tonight that the Norwegians will play an away match against the Estonian national team.

It’s worth noting that just a few days ago, Norway secured a resounding victory over the group’s top favorite, Italy. The Norwegians triumphed at home with a convincing 3-0 scoreline, with Erling Haaland netting one of the goals.
Thanks to this win, Norway solidified their position as group leaders and significantly boosted their chances of qualifying for the World Cup. They now have 3 wins in 3 matches and a perfect haul of 9 points.
It’s also notable that Norway hasn’t played at a World Cup in nearly 30 years. Their last appearance came before Erling Haaland was even born, back in 1998 in France. On that occasion, Norway managed to reach the round of 16, where they were eliminated by, ironically, Italy.
