Headed home. Vinicius Junior travels to Brazil after club season ends

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has headed home following the conclusion of the Spanish league season. The forward shared a personal photo on his Instagram page to mark the occasion.
Vinicius posted a snapshot from the airplane cabin, showing travel bags on the seat, and tagged the location as Rio de Janeiro. This suggests the player is on his way to Brazil, where crucial 2026 World Cup qualifying matches are just around the corner.

During this international window, Brazil faces tough fixtures against Ecuador and Paraguay. The five-time world champions have yet to secure their World Cup spot, making these matches absolutely vital.
So far in this qualifying campaign, Vinicius has featured in nine games for Brazil, scoring just once and providing two assists.
It's also worth noting that in Brazil, Vini will reunite with his now-former Real Madrid coach. Carlo Ancelotti has left the Spanish club following the end of La Liga and is set to take charge of the Brazilian national team in the near future.
