The media is frolicking about the future of Erik ten Hag as Manchester United head coach, and if the Dutchman is sacked, who will be his successor. Ex-Mancunians forward Louis Saha has also joined in the speculation, labelling him a good coach for the Red Devils:

"For a number of years I have said that Zidane would be a fantastic appointment for the club. There is no negativity in that. We all know that his dream is to work for the French national team, but we don't know if he might have to wait a while for that position to become available.

He speaks a bit of English so that would be helpful. I don't see anything that would stop him from becoming Manchester United manager. He would definitely inspire players to be more confident at the highest level and everyone admires him as a player and as a manager, so that's definitely an advantage. It would be a huge achievement for Manchester United to have Zinedine Zidane as their manager," Saha told Betfred.
