"He will definitely return". Maresca comments on Mudryk scandal

Yesterday, Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk found himself at the center of a doping scandal after a positive test result. Team manager Enzo Maresca has addressed the situation for the first time.

Details: According to Maresca, he remains optimistic about Mudryk's future at the club.

"We all believe Mudryk is innocent. He will definitely return. I don’t think Misha’s career at Chelsea is over. I believe he will come back.

We don’t know exactly when, that’s the only doubt we have at the moment. But he will definitely return."

In the current season, Mudryk has recorded 3 goals and 5 assists in 15 matches across all competitions.

In January 2023, Chelsea paid €70 million to Shakhtar Donetsk for Mudryk's transfer.

Reminder: It was revealed yesterday that Mudryk has hired the same lawyers who helped Paul Pogba reduce his doping suspension from 4 years to 18 months.
